Commissioning of this project, to construct a new 20,000 square foot facility, was done to create a headquarters for the New Castle Conservation District. The structure was designed for environmental sustainability and efficiency, and includes such features such as geo-thermal wells, which provide heating and cooling of the facility, while lowering energy costs and reducing carbon emissions.
