Brandywine School District has seen such an increase in its student population that it has had numerous projects to improve and expand its school facilities. The project to update Carrcroft Elementary in north Wilmington, included constructing a brand-new cafeteria facility with lofty wood trusses and bright colors and complete renovation of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
